Palazzo Saloni is located in a very special area of Venice, in the most Bohemian district, in a wide and quiet alley that remains unknown to mass tourism, right in the heart of what is called the Dorsoduro Art Mile. This area, stretching from Punta della Dogana to the Accademia, covering about a mile, is home to exceptional private and civic museums, numerous workshops of painters, sculptors, and artisans of glass and wood… a maze of alleys and art.

Just a few steps away, you can find:

Piazza San Marco and the Doge’s Palace are easily reachable on foot (20 minutes) or by a single vaporetto stop. However, our recommendation is to use the public gondola service, called “Traghetto da parade.”

The gondola will take you from Punta della Dogana to San Marco, crossing the Grand Canal for just €2 per person… a brief but unforgettable experience at a very affordable price!

Rialto bridge is a 20-minute walk away or just 15 minutes by vaporetto line no.1.

The Biennale exhibition (Giardini stop) can be reached in 15 minutes by vaporetto lines no. 1, 5.1, or 6, with stops just a short walk from our house.
